Concert: Celebrating African-American Composers

The Third Sunday Concert on February 18 featured several musicians from the African-American Composers Initiative singing and playing music from African-American Composers.

Performers included the Picasso Ensemble (Susan C. Brown, Victoria Ehrlich, and  Josephine Gandolfi), LaDoris Cordell, Josephine Gandolfi, Othello Jefferson, and Deanne Tucker. They shared spirituals, the blues, and other compositions from  Undine Smith Moore, William Grant Still, Joshua McGhee, Valerie Capers, and more.
